The Loft

I love the clothing line. They seem well made, are comfortable, and pleasing to the eye. Though sometimes it seems a bit undertone.

So its for lady's but if a shopper intends to buy does it matter who the person is? Given the apathetic sales person I exchanged time with yesterday, I suppose it does matter.

I went into the store and walked straight to the back where I saw a skirt I liked while shopping a few days before. I found the skirt within 30 seconds and proceeded to buy. That's where the game began. First the older sales lady specifically directed the sales to her instead of the probable, temporary younger college student. Then asking if the skirt was a gift, where clearly it was not. Why now would she ask? To see if I capitulate to her whim of disapproval.

She took the price tag off anyway as if it were a gift. But of-course I did not receive a gift receipt.

I suppose this was some sort of weak mind game we participated-in. For what end, not sure?

After all, who is the person buying the skirt and who is selling? I seem snobby writing that, however, I am buying and she is not. Next time The Loft; have your staff be nice to all patrons it reflects on you far better than otherwise.
